9 February 2012 - Welcome ceremony for Federal Magistrate Ronald Curtain
Attorney-General Nicola Roxon extends her best wishes to the newly appointed Federal Magistrate Ronald Curtain, who will be welcomed to the Federal Magistrates Court today in a special sitting of the court. Mr Ronald Curtain holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Jurisprudence from Monash University and was first admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 1977. From 1978 to 1980 he was a legal officer at the Geelong office and later senior legal officer at the Melbourne headquarters of the Australian Legal Aid Office.
