The Minister for Veterans Affairs, Warren Snowdon, today expressed his sorrow at the passing of Sir Richard Kingsland, AO, CBE, DFC, a highly respected man who had committed a lifetime to his beloved country, both during his time in the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and as a senior public servant. Sir Richard was a leader to those around him and an inspiration to his colleagues, Mr Snowdon said.
