Australian Paralympic team achieves biosecurity best - Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry

The Australian Paralympic team is today returning from the 2012 London games to both medal and biosecurity accolades. First Assistant Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF), Tim Chapman, said the Paralympic team returned home under the same biosecurity conditions as anyone entering Australia. DAFF's biosecurity officers worked with the Australian Customs and Border Protection Service and the Sydney Airport Corporation Limited to ensure a smooth arrival for the Australian Paralympic Team through the international terminal.
