Young Victorians hit by Baillieu TAFE cuts

A new report shows that Victoria's most vulnerable young people are missing out on opportunities to prepare for the workplace and further training as a result of Victorian Premier Ted Baillieu's $300 million TAFE cuts. Federal Minister for Skills, Senator Chris Evans, said the study by the Victorian Association of State Secondary Principals highlights the damage being done to schools and classrooms by the Baillieu Government's TAFE cuts. This report shows that young Victorians will bear the brunt of TAFE funding cuts.
