Government accepts recommendations from the independent Access and Equity Inquiry Panel

Minister for Multicultural Affairs. The Gillard Government will implement the full suite of recommendations from the independent Access and Equity Inquiry Panel report to ensure government services are responsive to the needs of Australia's culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities, Minister for Multicultural Affairs Senator Kate Lundy announced today. 'The Gillard Government believes that respect for our diversity should be at the centre of the business of government and that a strong Access and Equity policy is the backbone of a strong multicultural Australia.
