Pages - AFP Commissioner honoured for distinguished career

After 32 years in the Australian Federal Police (AFP) Commissioner Tony Negus has announced that he will not take up the offer of a second term as Commissioner, and will finish with the AFP 7September 2014. Mr Negus was appointed as the Commissioner of the AFP on 7September 2009 and is chair of the Australian Crime Commission. On behalf of the Commonwealth Government, I would like to thank Commissioner Negus for a career dedicated to serving both Australia and the region.
