Northern Territory consulted on Vocational Education and Training | Ministers' Media Centre

The third of eight face-to-face consultations about the future of Vocational Education and Training (VET) is being held in Darwin today. Around 23,000 students study VET qualifications in the public VET system in the Northern Territory, including approximately 3,700 apprentices and trainees. Our Government will provide the Northern Territory with $19 million in funding in 2014-2015 to support the subsidisation of VET training, said Mrs Natasha Griggs.
