205th Corps Afghan National Army takes security lead in southern Afghanistan - Department of Defence

Defence News Published: 18 July 2012. 205th Hero Corps, Afghanistan National Army (ANA) assumed lead responsibility for security operations in Regional Command (South) from ISAF forces during a ceremony at Camp Hero in Kandahar province on 01 July 2012. Major General Abdul Hamid, Commander of the 205th Hero Corps reinforced the growth of Afghan security capabilities.
