Tony Abbott splits with Tasmanian Liberals on forestry - The Hon. Peter Douglas Sidebottom MP

Tony Abbott is at it again, this time trashing the Tasmanian forestry agreement while failing to put up an alternative. At the 2010 election, Tony Abbott promised a Coalition government would deliver a $20 million package to assist Tasmanian forest workers in exiting the industry,' Mr Sidebottom said. But unlike Tony Abbott, the government acknowledges the Tasmanian Forestry industry faces huge challenges, which is why we're working hard to support workers and secure a sustainable future in this State.
