Media release: Wednesday, 23 January 2013. A collection of banned books has come out of the vault at the National Archives of Australia to provide visitors with a glimpse into the minds of mid-twentieth century censors. National Archives curator Tracey Clarke says it remains a mystery why some bans were imposed.
