Trade Minister at World Economic Forum, media release, 24 January 2013, Australian Minister for Trade and Competitiveness

Trade and Competitiveness Minister Craig Emerson arrives in Switzerland today for a series of talks with counterparts at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos. He will also use the annual gathering to discuss bilateral issues and trade liberalisation with ministers from around the world, as well as with World Trade Organization (WTO) Director-General Pascal Lamy. While in Davos, Dr Emerson will also attend an informal meeting of Trade Ministers to begin preparations for the 9th WTO Ministerial Conference to be held in Bali in December this year.
