Making study in Asia more accessible

Study in Asia will be more affordable for Australian university students from 2014, the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Science and Research, Chris Bowen MP, said today. A key part of this is making overseas study experience in Asia more accessible for Australian students. Under this legislation, the maximum loan available for students undertaking study in Asia would be increased to $7,500 in 2014, $1,250 more than for other destinations, he said.
