North Korea, media release, 30 March 2013, Australian Minister for Foreign Affairs
Foreign Minister Bob Carr today condemned the latest round of threats by North Korea against South Korea and the Asia-Pacific region, as more evidence of a regime that placed militarism ahead of the needs of its people. 'I note also reports from our Embassy in Seoul that there is no immediate evidence of increased military preparations by North Korea. 'Despite this, North Korea continues to pose a genuine threat to the safety of millions of people in our region.
