Delivering agriculture forecasts to Cardinia, Victoria - The Hon. Sid Sidebottom MP - Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry

Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, Sid Sidebottom, has opened the Regional Outlook conference today in Cardinia, Victoria. 'The gross value of agricultural production in the region was $1.3 billion in 2010-11, which was 11 per cent of the $11.6 billion gross value of agricultural production in Victoria. 'During that period the region accounted for almost all Victorian strawberries, 94 per cent of the total value of asparagus, 88 per cent of the total value of mushrooms and 57 per cent of the total value of poultry.'.
