Social Justice Commissioner calls for greater cooperation to tackle child sexual abuse in Aboriginal communities (2013)

The Social Justice Commissioner Mick Gooda and the Australian Human Rights Commission welcome the New South Wales Ombudsman's report on child sexual abuse in Aboriginal communities and its recommendations. Consistent with the NSW Ombudsman's report, Commissioner Gooda says 'it's important to tackle the underlying causes that are responsible for child sexual abuse in Aboriginal communities.
